Protecting the past with an eye to the future
On Tuesday 24th January 2012 our speaker was Roger Martin.
Roger Martin is the Chairman of the Trustees of ‘Population Matters’ and he returned to kick off the 2012 programme of the Society with his talk “Why Population Matters”.
The apolitical talk by Roger, who is also Chairman of the Council for the Protection of Rural England and a former Director of the Somerset Wildlife Trust, addressed the effect of rising population on the environment, housing and planning.
